Wedding! Sam and Esther

September 1st, 2008

So last Monday went really well for Sam and Esther, the wedding was really great.
They were a great looking couple!
Brilliant load of guests, great speeches, awesome food and fantastic music!

The Reception was at Thornton Hall Hotel and Spa
Its a really great location with beautiful grounds and stunning rooms.
Check it out if you’re in the area.
The Staff at the hotel were brilliant!

Here are some of my favorite pictures from the day…

It was a really fun wedding to shoot! Thanks for asking me to be there Sam and Esther!

Just a note to everyone who has already enquired about viewing all of the pictures online, The company who I am dealing with is sorting it out as quickly as possible, you will receive another notification when they’re all up ready to view! Sorry about that.

Although this wedding was in Deeside, I am based in Bristol as a wedding, portrait and event photographer.
Please contact me for any details!

I used a d300, 18–50mm f2.8, 10–20mm f4.5–5.6, 70–200mm f2.8 and the lensbaby 2.0
Sam and Esthers wedding was the first wedding where I used my shootsac.
It really sped up my shooting, especially as I was using quite a range of lenses.
All of them were at my side just ready to use and whip out.
Plus it looks cool! The covers can be peeled off and new ones attached using the Velcro strip inside.
I’ll do a proper review of the bag another time soon.

Check out the designers web page/blog here: Jessica Claire
She’s actually one of Americas top ten wedding photographers.
I guess her blog is my blog of the blog today then! =)

I’m sorry for the fact I’ve not blogged for about 10 or so days, we’re still house sitting and our friends are stuck in Thailand at the moment due to protesting and shootings.
They should be back home tonight though, safe and sound.

Obviously, The cat still had to be looked after, and I’ve got some killer pictures which I’ll post another time soon.

Thanks for reading.
