Wedding Flipbook! Joseph and Emma at Clifton Mansion House, Bristol.
June 4th, 2010
After shooting in every corner of the country apart from of course Bristol, it was such a pleasure to shoot the Bristol wedding of Joseph and Emma.
We both love discovering new parts of the UK, but being able to have a lie-in on a beautiful day because the ceremony is 1)15 minutes away from my front door and 2) doesn’t start till 3, really is one of those things that made me smile from ear to ear!
Clearly, I’m easily pleased.
A lie-in and mid-afternoon wedding with much better lighting conditions are of course obvious reasons as to why that day was so good, but the real reason of course was Joseph and Emma themselves. We met up in December in Clifton and I immediately liked them. Such a charming couple.
Their wedding was one of the most relaxed affairs I’ve attended.
Of course, it’s easy to want a relaxed wedding, but to be well organised with it is so important and often overlooked by couples who just want a wedding without all the fuss. It takes skill to do it right. And I’ve seen it done wrong!
Jessica again was in control of the flipbook and I think she’s done an amazing job here.
There was a little issue at the end where someone accidentally knocked into the tripod.
We’ve been doing these flipbooks at the majority of our recent weddings and they seem to go down so well, all our couples can’t wait for us to flipbook their wedding!
I’ll go on and on about the wedding in my next post about them. So meanwhile, please just enjoy our flipbook.
Ha ha — I absolutely love this! And how cute are those wee pageboys!
A stop motion well done- good choice of music as well.
I like this sequence. I think the song does a great job fitting with the images
Hi Joseph, Just back from honeymoon and have really enjoyed looking through the photos today. Thanks for getting them to us in time for our return as promised! Love the flip book — the music is perfect. We particularly love the trees blowing in the background!
[…] these pictures and remember that Jessica has created another flipbook that if you’ve not seen, head on over here. Before I forget, here’s a little challenge for you; Try to find just one picture of Emma where she’s […]
