Guest Book

August 21st, 2008

In June, I met up a couple from Leicester, England, to talk about packages, prices, and to do an E‑Session.

They’re a really great couple, and we had a real laugh on the shoot (which had to be rescheduled because of high winds and storms!)

I promised them that because they had purchased my largest package, along with an add-on, I would design a  guestbook with all the photos from the shoot, so that all their guests can leave them comments at the end of the day!

The book eventually arrived today and I will be sending it off to them tomorrow.

Here are some pictures that I took of it just now.
I’ll blog about the shoot after they see the pictures, it would be unfair for me to show you the pictures before they see them.

Looks nice doesn’t it?

A bit of techincal stuff here. Flash was used on all of these pictures.
The idea of using flash is not to make the subject brighter, or to freeze action, but more simply, to enhance the picture.  Simple!
Never let the customer or viewer know that there was flash used. I think I just told you though! But you know what I mean.

Of course, as I was taking the pictures, the cat was being ridiculously psychotic and was climbing up the curtains, playing with my equipment, and at one point climbed INSIDE my softbox! Grrr!

Todays Blog of the blog comes from a little Lady in the San Francisco Bay Area, and her blog has just been dying to be featured on my blog of the blog, I know it! Shes got a super cool style to her pictures and she just never seems to stop.

A worthy read for a bride to be, or photographer!
