Flipbook! Adam and Lorna’s Wedding, Dudley

April 6th, 2010

On the way back from Chris and Victoria’s Wedding in Preston, we stopped off at a little hotel in a village called Kinver.
We met up with Adam and Lorna in the hotel where they would be holding their reception.

It was quite a late meet up, considering they were getting married just three weeks later.
This was the first time that we had met, and they also happened to be the first couple to find me through facebook. (Lorna went to school with one of my future grooms who I had tagged on facebook).

We had the usual chat about their day and about how they met and then, something dawned upon me and I hope that nobody takes offence at this.
Adam and Lorna are almost exactly like the majority of my other couples.

That’s not a bad thing, in fact it made me feel fantastic!
It meant that other than taking pictures that appeal to people, I’m doing something that is attracting the same “type” of people to me.
It just so happens that the people that I am attracting enough for them to book me, are the funniest, smartest, relaxed, in love and down to earth couples ever.
I don’t know what it is that I’m doing, so I’ll just stick to what I’m doing in the hopes that I continue to work with the worlds best Brides and Grooms.

I find that a little strange, but in no way am I fighting it.
So, to my future couples who have booked me; Thank you! (times a million)
And to couples who haven’t booked me yet; If you’ve got any doubts about me as a person, I’m probably not the guy for you!

Thanks for reading that, I found it hard to get down in words just because it’s not the easiest thing to explain.

So, we tried something a little different for the wedding that I shot for Adam and Lorna on Saturday.
Jessica joined me which was brilliant as she was an incredible asset to me.
She stood at the back of the church and recorded the Flipbook that you’ll find below.

This was the perfect remedy for working in a church that allowed very very few pictures to be taken, hence why you don’t see me moving around too much. Luckily, we had free reign for the rest of the day!
You’ll see more pictures from their brilliant wedding later on in the week.

For Jessica’s first attempt, I say she did amazingly! Look out for more Josephyarrow.com Flipbooks!
Well done Jessica.

I’ve watched this probably about 20 times now, and each time I notice something new!

Enjoy
