Engagement Shoot! Chris and Victoria in Ashton Court, Bristol

September 29th, 2009

I love this job!
On Saturday, I met up with Chris and Victoria for their pre-wedding engagement shoot. Chris was the best man for Craig, from Debby and Craig, the couple who by far have given me more referalls than anyone else on earth! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

I didn’t realise how funny Chris was!
This is a funny guy right here but he’s also a super nice person too! He had me giggling like a school girl!
Victoria.… Well I think she just tries to tolerates it, and humors him with a little laugh every now and then, hoping that he doesn’t notice the sigh and roll of the eyes!

We had loads of fun shooting at Ashton Court which I know quite well as I’ve done allot of family shoots for a company I’ve done freelancing for.
It’s a beautiful estate full of ancient trees and amazing architecture.

On these shoots, I get the kids to climb inside big hollow trees and climb up them too.
Trying to remember that Chris and Victoria are no longer small people I made no suggestion that they should climb up any.…oh wait, they’re already up a tree!

Chris and Victoria are getting married next year so i’m really looking forward to shooting their wedding! It sounds like they’ve got loads of little treats up their sleeves!

Enjoy these pictures and remember to keep an eye out for their wedding in March.

Ashton Court is very famous for its annual Bristol Ballon Festival, but when I saw a hot air balloon peek over that wall^ Chris thought I was on drugs.

Great series of images. Love the blur on the last one. Tilt&Shift or post production?

Awesome pics! I am one of the bridesmaids and you could say the Cilla Black behind these two getting together so naturally I think they look great as a couple anyway. Think you have done a wicked job and I ook forward to meeting you in March.

Awesome pics guys!!! Love the bottom one and the one of you both sat in the long grass the most. Oh, and Chris’s ‘blue steel’ pose..legendary!

Love the pic’s! Really good quality photographs. I am Victoria’s mother and look forward to meeting you on the wedding day in March

Jospeh…thaks so much for shooting us, the results are really impressive. Vic always looks beautiful, but fair play on working the magic on me too! (the camera NEVER lies, yes?) We agree, the long grass one is great. We can’t wait to look at the wedding photos, hopefully on a beach somewhere with a cocktail in hand! By the way (Ross), the “Blue Steel” look doesnt come easy, it takes practice, and then more practice.
