Brenden & Emmy got married at The Bath Priory

June 14th, 2012

Aah yes, the *very recent wedding* of Brenden and Emmy.
Last July.

Before the wedding, I met up with Brenden and Emmy at the Bath Priory. I walked into the picture room which just took my breath away and was then promptly served with the best glass of water I’ve ever had. I still remember it now. As you can tell, I’m easily impressed!

We arranged a photoshoot, also in Bath…(link at the bottom of my blabber)…then their wedding came along.
It really was such a fantastic day. Full of details, traditions and big personalities.
One of my favourite moments of the day (which happened on more than one occasion) was when both the Father of the Bride and of the Groom were singing songs from the iPad. The guests and I were privileged to hear a few Beatles songs along with a bit of Louis Armstrong. Whether or not the songs were sung in time or even in tune doesn’t make an ounce of difference in my opinion.

I walked away from their wedding with some of my favourite pictures of 2011, a hundred pictures of the same iPad, an unusual thirst for perfect water and a head full of horribly out of tune but perfect nonetheless-songs.

Thank you Brenden and Emmy for making me feel very welcome. You are both unbelievably sweet, it’s amazing.

For what it’s worth, you can find Brenden and Emmy’s photoshoot from earlier that year blogged here:

Enjoy.

Oh your eye is just incredible!! I love so many of them but my favourite is the little sneaky one just before the bride walked through the doorway to get married and everyone with their cameras ready on the other side. Awesome moment!!

Well worth the wait! A gorgeous wedding splendidly photographed. I very much like the shot of the guests with their cameras waiting the other side of the door to Emmy — the moment of anticipation. All smashing — brilliant job!

Got to echo previous commenters, that shot of the bride on one side and the guests with cameras ready on the other is fantastic.
